Editorial Policy

The rules we hold ourselves to, written so a reader can check whether we're following them.

The five commitments

  • Independence — no payment from Amazon or any vendor for coverage.
  • Primary sources only — every fact about Amazon cites an Amazon-owned page.
  • We publish the counter-case — every decision page names who should skip it.
  • No invented anything — no fabricated figures, credentials, testing claims or reviews.
  • Corrections in seven days, dated on the page.

1. Independence

We accept no payment from Amazon, or from any other vendor, in exchange for coverage, placement, ordering, or a favorable verdict. There are no sponsored posts on this site and no paid inclusions.

The site is funded by Amazon Associates commissions — disclosed in full here, and with a one-line disclosure above the first affiliate link on every page rather than only in the footer.

An affiliate site claiming its commissions do not influence it is easy to say and worth nothing on its own. So the commitment below is designed to be checkable instead.

2. We publish who should skip it

Every decision page on this site contains a section naming the readers who should not buy the product. Not a token caveat — a section, with specific cases.

Open is an Amazon Business account worth it or is Business Prime worth it and look for "who should skip". Those sections cost us money by design, and they are the most direct evidence available that the commissions are not steering the verdicts.

The same principle drives the most commercially awkward thing we publish: that the Amazon Business account is free, said plainly and repeatedly. The most lucrative move available to a site like this is to blur the free account into the paid membership. We do the opposite on every page, because a reader who buys a tier they did not need is a reader we have failed.

3. Sourcing

Every factual claim about Amazon Business or Business Prime cites an Amazon-owned URL — the plan page or a specific help-center article. Never a competitor, never an aggregator.

This is not fastidiousness. Competitors are demonstrably the ones publishing stale figures in this niche, and citing them is exactly how inaccuracy propagates. The full sourcing rules, the verification cadence, and how to check any figure yourself are on our methodology page.

Where Amazon hedges its wording, we keep the hedge. Where Amazon publishes no figure, we say so rather than estimating — there are several places on this site where we explicitly decline to answer a question for that reason.

4. What we never publish

  • Fabricated figures. No invented average savings, no estimated prices, no guessed eligibility rules.
  • Fabricated experience. We have not held a Business Prime account and never imply we have. No "in our testing", no owned units, no test lab.
  • Fabricated credentials. Stephen V. is an enthusiast, not a certified procurement, accounting or tax professional, and no such credential is claimed anywhere.
  • Fabricated staff. No "our expert panel", no editorial board that does not exist.
  • Testimonials, star ratings or review counts. None exist for this site. Inventing them would be fraud and would deserve exactly the consequences it carries.
  • Manufactured urgency. No countdowns or limited-time framing unless Amazon has actually published a deadline we have verified.

5. Accountability

Stephen V. writes the site and is named on every page, linked to a real bio that describes what he does and does not know. Bulk & Business is published by Type 5 Marketing LLC.

There is no anonymous byline here, and no invented editorial masthead implying a newsroom. What you see is what there is.

6. Corrections

Confirmed errors are corrected within seven days.

Any correction that changes a price, a seat count or an eligibility rule gets a dated correction note at the foot of the affected page. The last-updated date changes on every correction, and where the change affects the machine-readable summaries we publish for AI crawlers, those are re-synced too.

We do not quietly edit a figure and leave the page looking as though it was always right. On a site whose entire claim is accuracy, hiding a correction would be worse than the original error.

To report something: info@bulkandbusiness.com or the contact form. Reader corrections are genuinely welcome — if you catch a mistake here, you are doing us a favor.

7. Updates to this policy

This policy was published on August 11, 2026. Material changes will be reflected in the last-updated date at the top of the page. If we ever take money for coverage — which we do not intend to — this page will say so before any such content appears, not after.

Bulk & Business is independent and not operated by Amazon. Links to Amazon on this page are affiliate links — we may earn a commission if you sign up, at no cost to you, and it never changes what we recommend. Full disclosure.

Common questions

Does Amazon pay Bulk & Business for coverage?

No. We accept no payment from Amazon or any vendor for coverage, placement, ordering or a favorable verdict. The site is funded by standard Amazon Associates commissions, which are disclosed on every page carrying an affiliate link.

Do affiliate links affect your recommendations?

No, and the site is structured so you can check that claim rather than take it on faith. Every decision page contains a section naming who should skip the product, and we state repeatedly that the Amazon Business account is free — which is the opposite of what a purely commercial incentive would produce.

How do you correct errors?

Confirmed errors are corrected within seven days. Any correction that changes a price, seat count or eligibility rule gets a dated correction note on the page and updates the last-modified date.

Who is accountable for what's published?

Stephen V. writes the site and is named on every page. Bulk & Business is published by Type 5 Marketing LLC. There is no anonymous byline and no invented editorial board.

Do you use AI to write the site?

What matters editorially is that every factual claim traces to an Amazon-owned source, that figures are verified against Amazon directly rather than copied from other sites, and that a named person is accountable for what is published. Those standards apply to everything here regardless of the tools used to draft it.
