Privacy Policy

The short version
Bulk & Business is a publisher, not a service. There are no accounts, no logins and nothing to subscribe to. The only information you can give us directly is what you type into the contact form, and the only automatic collection is website analytics.
What we collect
Information you give us
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, optional subject line and message you enter. That message is emailed to info@bulkandbusiness.com so we can reply. We use it to respond to you and, where you have reported a factual error, to correct the site. We do not add you to a mailing list — there isn't one — and we do not sell or share it.
The contact form also records the moment the page loaded and checks your IP address against a short-term submission counter. That is purely spam defense: it distinguishes a person filling in a form from a script submitting it in milliseconds. The counter is held in memory, is not linked to your message, and is discarded when the server restarts.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and which are not. It sets cookies and collects the usual web analytics data — pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site.
We use this to decide what to write next. It is genuinely how the editorial priorities get set. Google's own handling of that data is governed by Google's privacy policy, and you can opt out across all sites using Google's browser add-on.
We also record when someone clicks an affiliate link, as an analytics event. This tells us that a link was clicked and from which page — not who clicked it.
Affiliate links
This site participates in the Amazon Associates program. Links to Amazon signup pages route through our own /go/ address and carry the tracking tag bulkandbusiness-20, which is how Amazon attributes a signup to us.
What that means for you: when you follow one of those links you leave this site and arrive on Amazon, where Amazon's own privacy policy and cookies apply. Amazon may set a cookie recording that you arrived from us. We do not receive your name, your email address, your order details or anything else about what you do on Amazon — only aggregate reporting on whether signups occurred.

What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
- We do not run a newsletter or mailing list.
- We do not host third-party advertising networks.
- We do not build profiles on individual readers or attempt to identify them.
- We do not require an account, because there is nothing to log into.
Cookies
The cookies on this site come from Google Analytics. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, or use the opt-out add-on linked above. The site works normally without them — nothing here depends on a cookie to function.
Data retention
Contact form messages are retained in our email for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting correction. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' configured retention period. The spam-defense rate-limit counter is transient and is not stored.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to certain processing. Since the only personal information we are likely to hold is an email you sent us, these requests are usually straightforward.

Children
This site covers business purchasing and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

We link out constantly — to Amazon's plan page and help center especially, because every factual claim here is sourced to an Amazon-owned page. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it. This version was published on August 11, 2026.
